Terms of use

The rules for playing Stumped: Ultimate Cricket 27, written to be read. By playing, you agree to them.

Effective: not yet in effect (draft)

Who these terms are with

Stumped: Ultimate Cricket 27 is made by Sφnny, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada ("we", "us"). These terms are between you and us. If you got the game from the App Store, Google Play or the Microsoft Store, that store's own terms also apply, and the store isn't responsible for the game or its support: we are.

Your licence to play

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to play the game on devices you own or control, for your own entertainment. You may not copy, sell, rent or redistribute the game, take it apart to get at its code or files except where the law allows, or use it to build a competing product.

Who owns what

The game, its code, its physics engine (Googly), its art, music arrangements, text and names are owned by Sφnny or licensed to us. The countries in the game are real; its players, clubs and leagues are made up, and any likeness to a real person is a coincidence. The game isn't connected to or endorsed by any cricket board, league or player.

Coins, items and the Edition Pass

Fair play

Don't cheat, use bots or modified copies of the game, attack or overload our server, or choose club and player names that are abusive, hateful, sexual, or impersonate someone. We may change offending names, remove clubs from the boards, or stop online play for a device that breaks these rules.

Changes to the game

We keep working on the game. Modes, features and balance will change, and online features may be paused for maintenance. We'll try to give notice in the game before a change that matters.

No warranty

The game is provided as it is. We work hard to keep it running and your saves safe, but we can't promise it will always be available, free of bugs, or that no data will ever be lost. Keep a copy with Settings › Privacy › Download my data.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the Edition Pass in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

Ending

You can stop playing and delete your data at any time (see Delete your data). We may end these terms for a device that seriously breaks them. The parts on ownership, warranty and liability carry on after that.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If you're a consumer living elsewhere, you keep the protections of the law where you live.
